EDL Management Services is a management and coordination service, not a law firm, and no one at EDL is acting as your lawyer. We act solely as an intermediary to arrange and facilitate the preparation of your Will and related documents, based on the instructions you give us. The Will itself is drafted by an independent, qualified paralegal partner.
Using this website, submitting our Will Instruction Form, or engaging our services does not create a solicitor-client relationship between you and EDL, or between you and anyone drafting your Will on our arrangement.
We work with a network of independent professionals, paralegals, witnesses, financial consultants, and other licensed advisors, to help you plan properly. Each of these professionals is independently responsible for the advice or service they provide, and for their own professional or regulatory obligations. EDL facilitates and coordinates; we don't supervise or guarantee their individual professional judgment.
We take care to arrange your Will accurately based on your instructions, but we can't guarantee any particular legal outcome, that your Will won't be contested, or that it addresses every circumstance relevant to your estate. Complex estates, cross-border assets, or unusual family circumstances may need advice from a lawyer beyond the scope of what we arrange. If you're unsure whether your situation is straightforward, please tell us, or speak with a lawyer before proceeding.
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, EDL is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on general information provided on this website, or from the advice or services of independent professionals in our network. This disclaimer should be read together with our Terms of Use and Engagement Terms, which contain our full liability terms. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Singapore law.
